“For nearly 35 years, families have chosen the Ford Explorer, making it America’s all-time best-selling SUV. We have refined almost every part of the new Explorer – focusing on a redesigned interior, additional technology like BlueCruise hands-free highway driving and special editions like the 400 horsepower Explorer ST. It’s the right combination of delivering what the next generation of customers want and love in a large SUV,” said Andrew Frick, president, Ford Blue, said in a press release.

2025 Explorer New Technology Features

CSL Ford customers interested in the 2025 Ford Explorer will be among the first of the automaker’s models to feature its new Ford Digital Experience. This game-changing technology will allow drivers and passengers to seamlessly access their digital or online lives while sitting comfortably in the 2025 Explorer.

The heart of the new Ford Digital Experience is a 13.2-inch touchscreen that will be the central control point for the vehicle’s entire multimedia suite. Drivers will also be able to monitor crucial systems on a 12.3-inch digital cluster. Additionally, this screen will also be able to display some multimedia functions as well.

What is Ford BlueCruise?

Traveling long distances on the highway can be exhausting. Some 2025 Explorer trim grades will be equipped with Ford BlueCruise, an advanced semi-autonomous driving system. BlueCruise will take some of the burden off of the driver while on long stretches of properly marked highways or stop-and-go traffic. The system can also help drivers more safely change lanes using the Lane Change Assist program.
